Built for youtube creators

PandaStudio for YouTube creators

Record, edit, polish, and publish to YouTube without leaving the app — with AI doing 80% of the cuts.

The problem

You're a YouTube creator shipping weekly. The bottleneck isn't ideas, it's the time between recording and uploading. Premiere is overkill, Final Cut Pro takes hours, Descript is per-seat-per-month forever, and stitching together Screen Studio + DaVinci + ChatGPT for thumbnails is five tabs and three subscriptions. You want one tool that does the whole loop and lets AI do the boring parts.

How PandaStudio fits

PandaStudio is built around the weekly-creator cadence. Record screen + camera, transcript-edit out fillers and false starts in two minutes, drop motion-graphic title cards and lower-thirds, auto-generate captions, AI-write the title and description and chapters, generate a thumbnail with Replicate gpt-image-2, one-click publish to YouTube. The agent surface lets you hand the whole edit to Claude with a single prompt.

A typical workflow

  1. 1

    1. Record

Screen + camera in one shot via Home → Record video. Talking-head + screen, or talking-head only, or screen only — same recorder.

  2. 2

    2. Transcript-edit

Whisper runs locally, transcript appears in seconds. Delete fillers and rough takes — video recuts automatically.

  3. 3

    3. Add structure (motion graphics + chapters)

Drop a title card at 0:00, lower-thirds for guest names or feature labels, chapter dividers between sections. All from the GSAP template library.

  4. 4

    4. Captions + thumbnail

Captions auto-generated from transcript with eight style options. Thumbnail generated from your face + a prompt the AI drafts from the transcript.

  5. 5

    5. AI metadata

Title, description, chapter timestamps generated from transcript. Edit any of them inline.

  6. 6

    6. Publish to YouTube

One-click publish — title, description, chapters, captions, thumbnail all transferred. No browser tab.

  7. 7

    7. Repurpose to Shorts

Same project — switch aspect to 9:16, AI Shorts identifies clip-worthy 30-90s moments, exports vertical clips ready for Shorts/Reels/TikTok.

Frequently asked questions

How does PandaStudio compare to Premiere or Final Cut for YouTube?

Different tradeoff. Premiere and Final Cut are pro craft tools — you can do anything, but every action takes a moment. PandaStudio is opinionated for the creator-publishing loop: record → transcript-edit → AI metadata → publish. For weekly cadence content (tutorials, screencasts, founder updates), PandaStudio cuts the round-trip from hours to under 30 minutes.

Can I really publish to YouTube from inside the app?

Yes — connect your YouTube account in Settings (OAuth), then the Export Library has a 'Publish to YouTube' button on every export. Title, description, chapter timestamps, captions, and thumbnail all transfer. You don't touch the YouTube Studio UI unless you want to.

Does PandaStudio work for vertical (Shorts / Reels / TikTok) content?

Yes. Aspect ratio is a project setting (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, etc.) and the entire editor adapts — motion graphics, captions, lower-thirds all reflow. AI Shorts can also identify clip-worthy 30-90s moments from a long-form export and produce vertical clips ready to publish.

Can AI do the editing for me?

Mostly yes. Built-in transcript editor + AI fillers removal handle the boring cuts automatically. The MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, Continue, or Cline drive every other feature via natural language — 'open my latest recording, remove fillers, add a title card with my video name, generate captions and metadata, export 16:9 + 9:16'.

What about copyright music and B-roll?

PandaStudio bundles royalty-free music + sound effects. For B-roll, the integrated Replicate gpt-image-2 generates concept stills from prompts; the motion-graphic system can wrap them with a Ken-Burns + vignette to fill timeline gaps. No third-party stock subscription needed for most creator content.
